Sara Dang has delivered innovative, systems-focused Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) services in partnership with governments to over 17 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. She created Building Brains, an evidence-based parenting intervention implemented in 49 countries and integrated into Bhutan’s public health system at scale.

Ms. Dang’s expertise includes developing disability inclusive ECCD interventions and integrating them in health systems, using applied behavioral sciences to generate innovative solutions to behavioral challenges, and developing approaches with governments to scale with quality, fidelity and equity. Applying evidence to scale with impact is central to her work.

Ms. Dang holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master of Education in Mind, Brain and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is multilingual, speaking English, French, Thai, and Nepali.
