Mr. Herryman Moono is Director of Research, Planning and Strategy at the National Health Insurance Management Authority, NHIMA, Zambia. He oversees the Authority’s research, policy, planning and strategy formulation in the implementation of the National Health Insurance Scheme as a Healthcare Financing vehicle for the achievement of Universal Health Coverage. Prior to joining government, Herryman worked for UNICEF, USAID, and the London School of Economics in various portfolios in research and healthcare financing. A Health Economist, Herryman graduated from the University of Oxford (MSc Global Health Science), the University of Sheffield (MSc Economics), and the University of Zambia (BA Economics) and is a 2022 Kofi Annan Global Health Leadership Programme Fellow of Africa CDC and the African Union.
