Dr. Caroline Chelimo Boit-Kibosia is a pediatric dentist, public health specialist, and Senior Lecturer at the School of Dentistry, Moi University, Kenya. She is the Founding Dean of the School of Dentistry and has played a pivotal role in strengthening dental education and specialist training in Kenya, including the development of several Master of Dental Surgery programs. With over three decades of experience in clinical care, teaching, and research, her work focuses on maternal and child oral health, prevention of childhood dental diseases, and integration of oral health into primary health care systems. She led the FDI funded “Oral Health: Well Mother Well Baby” initiative, which promotes oral health integration within antenatal and child welfare services in Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. Dr. Kibosia has contributed to national policy discussions on health professional training and patient care standards and actively mentors postgraduate researchers while advancing community-based oral health programs in underserved populations.
