Dr. Susan Ontiri is a Public Health Specialist with experience working on integrated public health programs including Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health. family planning, maternal health, adolescent health, child survival, and environmental health in Kenya and other sub-Saharan African countries. She currently works as the Country Director for the International Centre for Reproductive Health Kenya, an organization that implements innovative, evidence-based and cost-effective interventions and research in the field of sexual and reproductive health in Kenya. She has worked in other various international organizations where she led programs and research focusing on sexual and reproductive health across sub-Saharan Africa. Her global scientific and programmatic contribution involves being an Associate Editor of the Global Health Science and Practice Journal, member of the FP2030 Global Monitoring and Evidence Working Group and currently serves on the KEMRI Research Ethics Board. Dr. Ontiri’s academic foundation spans the full continuum of the field, holding an undergraduate degree, a Master’s, and a Doctorate in Public Health and Epidemiology.
