Nyawira Njeru is a health care executive with over 20 years of experience in the field of Global public health, having held various positions within the pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics industry. She has worked on immunization programs, infectious diseases, and non-communicable diseases with a focus on resource limited settings specifically in Sub Saharan Africa. Nyawira’s extensive experience spans working with governments, NGOs, and multilateral organizations to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex health issues.
Throughout her career, Nyawira has been actively involved in both clinical practice and health business, engaged on policy and market shaping, public private partnerships, and global innovations for improved health outcomes.
As a passionate advocate for gender equity and Women’s health, she represents Hologic on the Board of the Coalition of Women’s Health in Africa (COWHA) and is a former member of the Global Board of the Healthcare Businesswomen Association (HBA).
Nyawira is currently the regional director for Africa at Hologic Inc. and the Chair of the Health Task Force of the American Chamber of Commerce,Kenya.
