Dr. BAILLY Ozoua Cynthia is Social Scientist and lecturer at Alassane Ouattara University (Côte d’Ivoire). She is Researcher and practitioner in health systems and policies, gender, and climate change. She holds a PhD in Sociology.
She is alumni of Kofi Anan global Heath Leadership program. Her academic work focuses on power relations between stakeholders in public Health policies such fight against AIDS. Through other consultancies, she has accumulated more than 10 years of experience in the implementation and monitoring and evaluation of reproductive health and AIDS control projects.
She is also involved in research on womens sexual and reproductive rights, as well as on issues related to womens empowerment in climate change context.
She is investigator of multicountry studies on abortion practices in criminalization context (Burkina, Cote d’Ivoire) . She also led a country level study adressing child labor issues in mining, and designed interventions to address children and women vulnerability.
Cynthia led study on vulnerable women and youth to reinforce their adaptative capacities to climate change in Côte d’Ivoire.
She is also part of research organization, Transformation For Development Institute (T4DI) which focus on public policies analysis and transformative intersection of evidence, policies, and social realities of women.
