Dr. Abdourraouf Yougouda is a medical doctor from Cameroon and the founder and executive president of the Cameroon Youth Network for Health Diplomacy. He currently serves as a Strategic Management Assistant at the Women in Global Health Cameroon Chapter, where he contributes to advancing youth engagement and leadership in global health and health diplomacy.
During his medical training, he held several leadership roles within the Cameroon Medical Students’ Association (CAMSA), including Vice President for External Affairs and National Officer for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. In these capacities, he led national advocacy initiatives and helped expand international collaborations for medical students.
Dr. Yougouda also contributed to the development of policy statements within the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), particularly in maternal and infant health and sexual and reproductive health. As a Global Health Diplomacy Champion, he is committed to strengthening youth leadership, policy engagement, and equitable health systems in Africa and beyond.
